For us, that's always been part of the appeal. A hat gives you shade, but it can also give you a certain ease, confidence and freedom. It can make you feel a little more like yourself. That's something we believe in at SoonNoon – following the sun, getting outside, taking the long way and finding your own path.

Sunglasses can become part of that same feeling. They don't just shield you from the sun; they change the way you see and move through the world. That shared idea was one of the things that made the collaboration with Vasuma feel like such a natural match.

By joining forces, the collaboration brings together SoonNoon's approach to traditional hat making with Vasuma's more than 20 years of experience in eyewear. What made the project special was being able to go deeper than simply putting two products together. We worked closely across both pieces, sharing ideas and bringing our different knowledge and perspectives into the shapes, materials and details. The same care continued into the packaging, making the entire edition feel connected from the products themselves to the moment you open the box.
